Ethics and non-discrimination of vulnerable groups in the health system

This book was written for and published by the Association for Development and Social Inclusion (ADIS)in 2011, as part of the project "Health and nondiscrimination" in partnership with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Gr T Popa" Iasi and the Residents Physicians Association in Romania. The ADIS team notes that through this work they want to bring attention to the students of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy the basics of medical ethics, the phenomenon of discrimination and Roma in order to form an open and tolerant attitude towards groups with high intolerance and to Roma. The work is the result of an advocacy campaign to introduce into the academic curriculum a course unit on ethics and discrimination against vulnerable groups in the relevant medical and health services.
