Patients’ Rights in the European Union (2009)

This document aims to give an overview of the rights of patients throughout the European Union (EU). It places patients' rights within the human rights framework and gives an overview of patients' rights within the overall European legislations and initiatives. An overview on various topics regarding patients‟ rights of each EU member state is included.
