Bulgaria, (nr. 47/2007, Decision 3 December 2008) The complaint brought by the ERRC concerns the 20061 and 20082 amendments to the Social Assistance Act, which have lowered the maximum time periods for which most unemployed persons of working age can obtain monthly social assistance benefits to initially 18, then 12 and now 6 months.
